Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister Ertugrul Gunay inaugurated Iranian Culture Days in Ankara together with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Hoseini on Wednesday.
Turkey and Iran had sound ties, Gunay said in his speech at inauguration of the Iranian Culture Days.
Iran should be promoted in Turkey and vice versa, he said, adding this would contribute to the areas of tourism, economy and culture of the two countries.
2013 would be celebrated as Iranian Year in Turkey and 2014 would be celebrated as Turkey Year in Iran, he added. <Cihan>
