ZICO tells his life story in first solo album

Having already released many singles, Zico now drops his first official solo mini-album “Gallery” The Block B leader’s self-produced album includes “Veni Vidi Vici” featuring DJ Vegun, “Eureka” featuring Zion. T, “Pride and Prejudice” featuring Suran, and his recent digital singles “Tell Me Yes or No,” “Day” and “Boys and Girls.”

According to ALLKPOP, Zico explained his reason behind this new music release, in a commemorating concert: “Hip hop is what imprinted me in the public’s mind.  The only instrument that I could use to appeal is rap.  In order to appeal with my strong point, I released a solo album. I want to satisfy everyone’s expectations and prove that I am developing. That’s why I released a hip hop track.  I release music once in awhile in order to reply to the various feedback I’m getting through my lyrics.”

He has released a number of music videos from the album, most notably are the slow “Pride and Prejudice” featuring Suran, and the powerful “Veni Vidi Vici” featuring DJ Vegun.
