Airing Tofu Ball for ‘ Eryue Er’

Local villagers air the tofu balls, a symbol of good luck, in Sihua Village of Putian City, southeast China’s Fujian Province, Feb. 22, 2012.

Local residents of this village have a tradition of grabbing balls made of bean curd and vegetable one day ahead of Eryue Er, a folk festival on the second day of the second month in Chinese lunar calendar, in order to bring good luck in the new year. <Photo: Xinhua/Lin Jianbing>
