Tiger Woods will play in the same group with Phil Mickelson and Masters champion Bubba Watson in the opening two round of the U.S. Open.
Woods is coming from a win at the Memorial that has made him one of the faforites in the U.S. Open to be held at The Olympic Club.
Mickelson has finished runner-up a record five times in the U.S. Open. In a bizarre coincidence, the U.S. Open champion has played with Mickelson in the opening rounds – Woods in 2008, McIlroy last year at Congressional. (Compiled from foreign media)
