Washi Killed 957 Filipinos

National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) reported that as of Tuesday afternoon, the death toll from the typhoon stands at 957. Heavy downpour caused flooding and landslides that killed nearly 1,000 residents and displaced hundreds of families. <Photo: Xinhua/Rouelle Umali>
