Hot Water Shortage Leads Afghans to Public Bath

Afghan men bath at a “Hamam” or public bathhouse in Kabul, capital of Afghanistan on March 1, 2012. Most local people come to public bathhouse daily in Kabul and across the country.

The bathing fee here is some 50 Afghanis (about one U.S. dollar) per person. People come to public bathhouse due to shortage of electricity and hot water at their houses. <Photo: Xinhua/Ahmad Massoud>
