A South Korean company donated two cigarette smoke purifiers to Cairo International Airport on Tuesday 15th December.
The Korean agency for promoting trade and investment announced that the Korean company “airtech21” held the ceremony for the donation event in Cairo’s international airport.
The device is composed of a special colander to remove tar, nicotine, and toxic gases, and an internal cleansing system to remove the cigarettes smell.
The agency said that the airport is considering buying 10 more devices in addition to the two devices being donated.
The head of “airtech21” company Lee Jong Rak said, “We hope these devices ensure a pure environment in the airport considering it being Egypt’s main gate to the world and tourism.”
