Anticipated “The Village”: thrilling Korean drama

One of the most anticipated upcoming dramas is “The Village: Achiara’s secret” which stars BTOB’s member Yook Sung Jae and Moon Geun Young, accompanied by Shin Eun Kyung, On Joo Wan, and Jang Hee Jin, directed by Lee Yong Suk.

The drama revolves around Achiara, which is a quiet, peaceful village with hardly any crime. However, on her first day in the town, English instructor Kim So-yoon (played by Moon Geun Young) discovers a buried corpse. As the townspeople speculate on the identity of the dead person and the reason she was killed, rookie policeman Park Woo-jae (played by Yook Sung Jae) — who has finally accomplished his dream of becoming a policeman after failing the exam three times — team up to uncover the secrets hidden in the seemingly idyllic town.

Achiara’s secret or as it’s known “The Village” or “The Town” is set to be a 24 episodes thriller/mystery drama airing it’s first episode on October 7.
