Mo Yan, 2011 Manhae Award Laureate, picked as winner of 2012 Nobel Literature Prize

Chinese writer Mo Yan, winner of 2011 Manhae Prize in Literature, has won the 2012 Nobel Prize in Literature, the Swedish Academy announced in Stockholm Thursday. He visited Seoul on the occasion of the award-giving ceremony last year.

Shown above is the message Mo Yan wrote in his own hand for the Asia Journalist Association (AJA) last year when his visited South Korea to attend the award-giving ceremony for Manhae Prize. It means “Letting global people know the truth from among the news collected from around the world.”
