[Indonesia Report] Jayapura, an ideal place to enjoy holiday cheaply

But Kompas.com also says, to explore more beauty of Papua Island, staying for more than three days is recommended.

If you are planning to go for summer, you can attend one of the most waited festivals, which is Sentani Lake Festival in June. The festival takes place in Sentani Lake, one hour by land from Jayapura City.

For a meal in a restaurant would cost around IDR 10,000 to 50,000 or around KRW 1,200 to 6,000 per meal.
You would also need money for entrance fee to the tourism objects and if you want, you also can buy ethnic souvenirs to bring home.
If you want to enjoy Sentani Lake by boat to cross to other little islands around it, you also need to prepare some extra budget.
