Russia can sell weapons to Armenia, Aliyev says

The fact that Russia is selling weapons to Armenia doesn’t create any allergy in Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan said.

He talked during the joint press conference with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin June 7. He said that Azerbaijan and Russia have common relations in all fields such as security, trade, energy, and transport.

He told journalists that Russia can sell weapons to Armenia and it doesn’t create allergy in Azerbaijan.

He also said, “Azerbaijan buys weapons not only from Russia but also from Turkey, Israel, Belarus, and Iran. We should provide our armed forces with sophisticated weapons as a state that is suffering from occupation and located in complicated geopolitical configuration,” APA reports.
