No. 60 – 20 March 2013

Dear friend,

I have a few questions I would like to ask to all of our friends from Asian nations and Asians living in non-Asian countries. These are questions I often ask myself.

Where does Asia begin and where does it end?

Why is Asia, the birthplace of the religions of Buddhism, Christianity and Islam, ridden with the greatest number of wars and conflicts? Why do they continue to erupt?

Why are the birthplaces of the great ancient civilizations of the Ganges and Indus rivers, Mesopotamia, and China’s Yellow River suffering from poverty and famine?

What are the Asian values? What is Asia’s true identity?

These are issues that The AsiaN is constantly pondering over.

We would be grateful if you could also contemplate these questions with The AsiaN and help us to find some clear answers. The AsiaN values your creative thoughts and innovative ideas as we go forward in search of these answers.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Lee Sang-ki, CEO & Publisher of the AsiaN
