2017 AJA Global Leaders Forum Indonesia to be held August 23rd-27th for “Better Network, More Opportunity”
This coming August 23rd to 27th, Asia Journalist Association, with the sponsorship of the Indonesian government, will host the “2017 AJA Global Leaders Forum” in Indonesia’s capital, Jakarta, and the beautiful port city, Surabaya.
Under the overarching motto of “Better Network, More Opportunity,” major government officials, business executives, and specialists of various fields from both Korea and Indonesia will come together for meetings with the purpose of enhancing bilateral relations and investment cooperation.
The forum will formally begin on morning of the 24th at Gran Melia Hotel with those in attendance including Chairman of Indonesia Investment Coordinate Board, his excellency, Thomas Lembong, and other high-ranking officials.

Korean Ambassador to Indonesia Cho Tai-young will also participate by giving a congratulatory speech to open the event.
This year’s Global Forum will build new bridges between Korea and Indonesia—two investment capitals—and introduce innovative business projects for the betterment of both countries. The forum also precedes the 2018 Jakarta AJA General Conference where around 200 reporters from over 40 Asian countries will be gathered to globally connect Asia as a unified continent.
