The Quiet Leaf

An exhibition will be held in celebration of the original action sports/skateboard brand, Vans’ inaugural House of Vans magazine issue (collaborated with The Quiet Leaf). The location will be at the Vans Apgujeong store and will be open this February 10th to March 3^rd. A short opening event will take place on the 10th.

The Quiet Leaf is a magazine that displays the many different skateboarding cultures of various nations through minimalistic writing and images. To date, The Quiet Leaf has published its fourth UK issue. One distinguishing factor of the magazine is the style that colors the pages—very specific to the editor of The Quiet Leaf, Kim Jin-yeop. Having valuable experiences traveling the world, Kim provides content that comes from the perspective of the skater and brings a whole new level of personal touch to the magazine.

This issue (House of Vans) includes diverse stories about Art Toy Artist Coolrain, the Asian tour along with information of local skateboard shops like “8Five2”, Handmade Beer Brewery, Magpie Brewery, and Band Hands Tattoo Studio.

For the opening to be held this Friday, DJ Jeyon of 360 Sounds will be DJing and some light snacks will be provided. Editor Kim Jin-yeop will also be present at the opening so if you would like to get to know about the House of Vans issue on skateboarding and various topics, come on by!
