Yildirim to visit Russia in December
Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım will pay a visit to Russia in the first week of December in a bid to accelerate the ongoing normalization process between Ankara and Moscow.
Yıldırım and Russian Prime Minister Dimitry Medvedev will chair the meetings in Moscow, Hurriyet reports.
According to sources, the main agenda of the Yıldırım-Medvedev meeting will include economic cooperation between the two countries after a number of sanctions imposed by Russia continue to be gradually lifted.
Expected to be accompanied with a delegation of businessmen, Yıldırım and his counterpart will also discuss trade in the Turkish lira and the Russian ruble, the establishment of a free trade zone, and the enhancement of tourism between the two countries. (Vestnik Kavkaza)
