At least 38% of citizens not to trust any Azerbaijani bank

Business Insight Company has conducted the survey that has affected the attitude of Baku citizens to the banks.

According to the survey, in August 37.6% of citizens did not trust any banks, and 8.8% of citizens neither agree nor disagree. For comparison, in January the indexes amounted to 33.1% and 1.5% respectively, and in April – 24.1% and 1.3%, Vestnik Kavkaza cites the abc.az report.

As it turned out, no bank has such popularity among the population as distrust none of them. The best of them is Kapital Bank OJSC with the trust rate at 14.2% on August against 11.3% in January and 10.3% in April. The International Bank of Azerbaijan has the rate at 11.8% (against 9% and 13.5% respectively), Bank of Baku – 7% (10.3% and 12.7%), IniBank – 6.6% (11% and 14.4%), and AccessBank – 4.1% (6.3% and 6.6%).

702 respondents participated in the survey (50% men, 50% women).
