Putin increases Russian Armed Forces’ organic strength to 1.885 million

Russia’s President Vladimir Putin has established the organic strength of the Russian Armed Forces at 1,885,371, including 1 million servicemen, Tass reports.

The decree comes into force as of July 8.

Under the previous decree that has become null and void, the organic strength of the Russian Armed Forces stood at 1,884,829.

Therefore, the Russian Armed Forces’ organic strength has increased by 542 persons from July 8. The number of servicemen has remained unchanged.
