Once introduced as a Malaysian humanitarian photographer in the last May issue, Thomas Tham Joo Kit is an NGO activist/photographer taking Asian children’s photos as they are.

‘Empowering Lives Asia’(ELA) is one of the Non-Profit Social groups where he is working. There are ‘Angels’ who have the calling to touch lives and help Asian children who are experiencing war, hunger, and child exploitation. “They encourage children to learn the value of honesty and earnest running many programs to support their dreams” he introduced.

He has gone around Asia, especially Indonesia, Philippine, Cambodia and East Asia regions and spent several years to understand children indeed. “They are my family not the subject for the photo work.”
