Russia ranked 60th according to World Citizenship Index
Russia has been ranked 60th out of 161 according to the citizenship quality, the results of Henley & Partners Consulting Company research.
The company launched a global ranking report of nationalities examined based on the scale of economy, human development, peace, and stability. From an external viewpoint, the index looks at the ability of citizens to visa-free travel, and the relative ease for some nationals to travel and work abroad, An-Nahar reports.
Russia’s citizenship has been assessed as average-quality citizenship in the research.
Azerbaijan has been ranked 107th, Georgia – 103rd, Armenia – 110th, Turkey – 70th.
Germany, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden are assessed as the most attractive countries. Afghanistan and the Congo Democratic Republic are sharing the final positions in the list.
