The first kpop concert in Prgaue

On Friday 4th December, the first Kpop concert in the Czech Republic capital, Prague, was held in a sports stadium, during the visit of South Korea’s president Park Geun Hye to the country.
The concert was attended by over 1800 hallyu fans from Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, and Slovakia. President Park attended the concert as well, which was held in a basketball stadium. She expressed her wishes that Seoul and Prague would grow closer through music.
Kpop music is immensely popular in the four Visegrad countries as the number of fan club members go over 160 thousand members.
