Dubai celebrates artistic renditions of “Movember”
November takes on a new form at Dubai’s leading Latin American dining destination, COYA Dubai. In honor of “Movember”, the outlet offers diners the opportunity to donate to a charitable organisation by adding AED 10 to their dinner bill this entire month. Acting as a gateway to the creative and artistic community, the COYA Collective also curates and presents an exhibition by Lebanese artist, Suzy Fadel Nassif called “Fragments of Nostalgia”.
From the 16th of November, as part of the curated addition for the month, COYA’s Members’ club will showcase art pieces linked to the theme “Movember” under the COYA Collective. Suzy Fadel Nassif’s artwork such as ‘Fridali’ and ‘The Vow’ capture the experiences of different stages of humanity and link the essence of the theme in the artist’s own rendition of what this month means.
“We are delighted to continue our collaborations with the incredibly talented members of the creative community from the region and beyond. These dynamic showcases of talent are part of our DNA at COYA and we are excited to see the expansion of the COYA Collective through opportunities like this. This November, we are delighted to introduce Suzy Nassif and her versatile influences to the COYA Collective,” said Cedric Toussaint, Director of Operations, COYA Dubai.
Movemeber also known as “No-Shave November” is an annual event involving the growing of mustaches and beards during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as depression in men, prostate cancer and other male cancers, and associated charities.
