South and North Korean family reunions in preparations

The newest round of family reunification between South Korea and North Korea is expected to be held on the 20th of October in Mount Kumgang in North Korea.

A team of preparations consisting of 14 members headed by “Bang Tae Young”, a member of the red cross, headed to the mountain to do a final inspection on the site and the reunions events, as well as going over the schedule with the North Korean side.

About 400 people of 97 families are expected to participate in the first round, and 250 people of 90 families to participate in the second round, according to KBS news.
