Lenovo and Xiaomi Make New Friendship with Windows Phone

Microsoft has announced that it will develop smart devices with help of its Chinese friends-smart phone makers Lenovo and Xiaomi.

It has been confirmed that Lenovo and Xiaomi had made commitment to run the latest version of Windows operating system.

Lenovo is planning to launch Windows-based smartphones this summer according to the deal, and new Lenovo phones will be included in contracts with China Mobile.

Xiaomi hasn’t made any Real action of commitments.

The company does say its going to provide “feedback” to Microsoft based on a test run of the operating system on Xiaomi’s new Mi4 smartphone later this year.

The new Windows 10 operating system is slated3 for launch sometime this summer.

Windows Phone accounts for less than 1-percent of the overall smartphone OS sector4 in China.
