[Survey] Which city captures your heart?
Tourists of the world are all heading to Asia. About 200 million tourists visit Asia annually and based on the combined statistics of the ASEAN countries, about 100 million tourists visit Southeast Asia. A huge increase of migrants from other countries can be seen as well. Many are attracted by the cultural diversity and beautiful natural landscapes of Asia. In this vein, what Asian city has successfully captured the heart of the world?
For 44 days from December 26, 2014 to February 6, 2015, Magazine N has interviewed 265 young people from all over the world from ages 20 to 30 about the “best city to visit” and “best city to live” in Asia. Survey results show that amongst all cities of Asia, the “best city to visit” is the Japanese capital of Tokyo, as it keeps the dynamism of both traditional and modern culture. The “best city to live” in Asia, on the other hand, is Singapore, due to the high quality of life it provides for its people. During the survey done both online and offline, people from China, the Philippines, Pakistan, Japan, and Iran among other Asian countries were interviewed. Survey participants also included people from Ghana, Algeria, Zimbabwe, the USA, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Sweden, and Australia among other countries with representation from five continents and 32 countries from all over the world, maintaining the multifarious nature of the selection maintained throughout the survey. Magazine N shares the various thoughts of people from the world concerning the cities of Asia.
