Meerut, home to instruments in India, maintains high level of production

Meerut, a city 70 kilometers far from New Delhi, is home to most instruments in India. It is well known for its brass instruments and drum manufacturers. One company, named as the Nadir Ali & Company, produces brass instruments and drums since 1885. Today, the machine that dates back to 100 years ago at Nadir Ali & Company is still in operation. As the company continues, local production of instruments in Meerut grow, which turned the city into the largest producer of musical instruments in India.
