In 2011, natural disasters struck all places of Asia and dictators stepped down. The biggest news of Asia selected by the AsiaN is ‘Death of North Korean leader Kim Jong-il’. Earthquake hit Turkey, India, Indonesia and China, not to mention Japan causing heavy casualties and great floods occurred in Thailand and the Philippines. The Chinese suffered from a lack of drinking water owing to unusual drought. Arab Spring began and Gadaffi was shot dead. Osama Bin Laden was also killed. To you, what has happened this year?
