Korean pop (K-pop) lovers would be able to book tickets for the upcoming SMTown Live World Tour III from this Friday in Jakarta, local promoters announced on Monday.

The concert will feature major Korean artists, namely Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, Shinee, Dong Bang Shin Qi, f(x), Exo and pop stars BoA and Kangta.

The stars will perform at the Bung Karno main stadium on Sept. 22.

The Indonesian promoters, W Productions and MP Entertainment, have allocated more than 30,000 tickets priced between Rp 500,000 for Festival class to Rp 2,500,000 for VIP class.

For Friday’ sales, authorized ticket seller Myticket is set to open two ticket booths at the fountain area of Grand Indonesia’s west mall, Central Jakarta, and at the Sands Ballroom in Mangga Dua Square, North Jakarta.

“The two ticket venues are spacious in order to ensure ticket buyers’ safety,” said W Productions’ managing director, Sean Sudwikatmono, during a press conference in Jakarta.

The booths are slated to open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

”Each buyer will need to show a valid identification card and will be allowed to purchase a maximum of four tickets,” said MP Entertainment’s director, Dani Soegiarso.

Prior to the public sales, several authorized fan bases, such as SJ World and Exo Indonesia, are permitted to book tickets until Wednesday.

“If there are still tickets left after the fan bases’ booking and public sales, we will offer them online,” Sean said, adding that there was a possibility that an additional concert might be negotiated if ticket demand soared.

The first concert by SM Entertainment in Indonesia will run for at least four hours, showcasing more than 40 songs from the eight performers.

“We will provide around 20 mobile medical facilities and we’ll be cooperating with nearby hospitals in case there are any emergencies,” Sean added.
