Throwing Mortar Boards For World Record

Backdropped by Tower Bridge, hundreds of students from more than 100 nationalities toss their mortar boards into the air in a Guinness World Record attempt for the most people throwing mortar boards simultaneously outside City Hall in London as part of World Record London to mark the news that more international students than ever are now studying in London, Wednesday, May 30, 2012. 295 students took part and set a new Guinness World Record.
