A huge number of barbers in Pakistan can’t afford to pay rent and get shops for their business. Instead they have turned to another way of doing their business. A large amount of roadside barbers can be seen throughout Pakistan, including big cities such as Karachi. They can be found under the flyovers, at footpaths, under the trees and various other open places where they can run their business without paying any rent.

These roadside barbers facilitate the working class of Pakistan who can’t afford to go to big saloons and barber shops. Whereas the saloons and shops charge in hundreds, the roadside barbers merely charge twenty to thirty rupees.”
