Yonhap News TV to run job information channel until 2022

Yonhap News TV, the all-news cable channel of Yonhap News Agency, said Wednesday that it will operate a public job information channel through 2022. Owned by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Human Resources Development Service of Korea, the Korea Work TV is a cable TV channel aimed at providing employment and vocational information for young jobseekers. It is run by a private TV station in trust by the government. Yonhap TV, which has operated the Work TV since 2016 on a three-year contract, was chosen again to manage the network for another three years. “We will help Work TV plays a role in giving hope to every young jobseeker in Korea,” an official from Yonhap TV said.
