Kazakhstan and Israel to jointly manufacture UAVs
Kazakhstan and Israel have reached agreements on joint production of UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicle), Kazakh ministry of defense said on August 22, Trend reports.
The message did not reveal the UAV models that Kazakhstan and Israel plan to manufacture.
The agreements have been reached during the meeting of Kazakh and Israeli defence ministers Imangali Tasmagambetov and Avigdor Lieberman in Tel Aviv.
Under the agreements, the UAVs will be produced in Kazakhstan, based on Israeli technology.
“This project will be implemented in aviation technical center in Astana, which has necessary production capacity and human resources for assembly production and service maintenance of the UAV if appropriate technology and the training of specialists is provided,” Tasmagambetov said during the meeting.
