French climber Alain Robert, dubbed as Spiderman, climbed a Paris skyscraper as a tribute to thousands of victims of Nepal earthquake.

With Nepalese flag in his pocket, Robert, 53, ascended the highest building in Paris, the 210m Tour de Montparnasse, without a safety harness in just under an hour.

During the climb, he tried to attach the Nepalese flags to the building but they failed to stay attached. Before initiating his climb, he said that his thoughts were with the mountaineers who were stranded at Mt. Everest base camp, where over 60 people died due to the avalanches triggered by the quake.

Robert has climbed over 130 structures around the world, without any safety measures.
