No. 64 – 17 April 2013
Dear friend,
After Chinese President Xi Jinping finished his visit to Russia and Africa last month, Xinhua News Agency summarized Xi’s style as “active, confident, humble and seeking mutual prosperity.” Xi emphasized the expression “active” as meaning to “stop talking, just act.” This year and last year, many Asian countries are being tested with the transition in their top leadership. Even though it is difficult to limit the necessary qualities a leader should possess, we could add “communication” and “patience” to Xi Jinping’s 4 types of style. Taking the above qualities into consideration, how many points would your satisfaction quotient for your country’s leader be? Would you give your country’s leader 90 out of 100 points? Or is it difficult to even give 20 points? However, as we are the ones who choose our leader, responsibility is half ours. The key to satisfaction is not very far away. We need to wait and make repairs with time. The majority of leaders of countries do not want to lead their country in a bad direction. May we make waiting a beautiful virtue. This will bring increase our level of satisfaction. April 17, 2013 Sincerely, |
