No. 49 – 02 January 2013

Dear friend

The year of 2013 has now begun. I wish for all of your good health and happiness.

The AsiaN has a few promises it would like to make you this year.

First of all, we promise to work harder to bring you more accurate and insightful articles. We will do our best to report fair and balanced news.

Next, the AsiaN is planning on publishing a magazine starting this spring. We will fill this magazine with Asia’s power and vision from an Asian standpoint. We will be sharing with you vivid articles and in-depth columns from over 300 expert journalists and columnists from the Asia Journalist Association’s 40+ member nations.

The AsiaN will also be launching a Turkish version in the second half of the year. We currently have a Korean, English, Chinese, and Arabic version of the AsiaN and our next expansion and step forward will be our Turkish version.

The AsiaN has made a custom of praying for its readers and those mentioned in its articles for 10 seconds before the final publication each week. We plan to continue this custom in 2013.

This week’s edition consists of New Year’s greetings and articles regarding the 2012 Asians, selected by the AsiaN.
I will stop here by wishing you all a wonderful year full of happiness and inspiration in all your endeavours.

January 2, 2013

Sincerely
Lee Sang-ki, CEO & Publisher of the AsiaN
