Cathy Huynh was a Canadian teacher who taught in Korea died mysteriously from food poisoning. You can contribute to www.gofundme.com/z81i8 to help send her body back home. Kari Joy Bowerman was an American teacher teaching in Korea. You can contribute to her funeral costs at www.giveforward.com/karisarmy. Both were close friends. They both shared a room at a guesthouse in Nha Trang.

A forensic investigator of Khanh Hoa province’s Police Department, believes that drinking too much wine might have led to the deaths of the two foreign visitors to Nha Trang, who have recently died mysteriously at a local public hospital.

Their doctor denies that alcohol was the cause of death.

On August 4, local authorities in coordination with the US Consulate General in Vietnam completed a preliminary autopsy on 27-year-old American tourist Karin. Currently no autopsy has been done on Cathy.

Was the poisoning on purpose, was the hospital irresponsible, or did they really die from alcohol poisoning?

On August 4 afternoon, Tuoi Tre News tried to contact the hotel where the two deceased tourists stayed during their vacation in Nha Trang but the hotel staff declined to cooperate, saying that they already told investigators. <Vietnam=TuoiTreNews>
