Bosnian Muslims Hold Mass Funeral
Thousands have gathered in the eastern Bosnian town of Visegrad to bury the remains of 66 Muslim Bosniaks killed and thrown into the river by Bosnian Serb forces at the start of the country’s 1992-95 war. The victims’ remains were discovered two years ago, when a manmade lake that divides Bosnia and Serbia was partially drained for the maintenance of a dam. They were identified through DNA analysis and buried on Saturday at a cemetery in Visegrad. <AP/NEWSis>
